A beautiful day on a beach in Erie, PA.
Erie
Have you ever been to Erie, PA? Brian and I took a trip last week, and we were surprised and delighted by the beauty of the water.
209
Brian and I love walking around our neighborhood in Indiana, PA. We’ve only been living here for a few months, and we’ve discovered this old town has the best houses. Many of them are historic and need work, but they are charming and filled with character. Number 209, shown here, is huge and currently empty. But I believe it spent its life not just as a private residence, but a bed and breakfast, and who knows what else. I love this entrance.
Bluebird Trail
This memorial at Duman Lake was dedicated to my grandfather who built and maintained the bluebird houses and trails throughout the park. I love going there for the peaceful views, the quiet and the wildlife.
This view, these colors
It’s common to say how breathtaking sunsets are, but we say it anyway. Thanks to God for this view, these colors.
Sunset love
Sunset love found and taken on the grounds of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Indiana, PA.
No Trespassing
I snapped this photo after the 2018 Ellicott City flood. Once we were allowed back in town, it was shocking and sad to see some of the destruction. There were many worse sights, but I found this one conveyed the right mood at the time.
Escape
Brian and I went for an evening stroll on the beach in Edgewater. Beautiful place and just the escape we needed.
