Shine

On Saturday evening, Brian and I dined in a restaurant called Thursday’s in Galesville, Maryland. (The salmon was very good :)) After dinner, we took a walk and he snapped these pictures with his phone. The area is known as Pirate’s Cove for its history of pirates hiding and waiting to attack ships coming out of Baltimore. Today, it’s a quiet little area with a few restaurants, a couple of antique stores and friendly residents. Lovely place to get away for a few hours, enjoy a meal on the water and a scenic stroll.

Spring flowers

These little purple flowers bloom in early spring and seem to survive in so many different places–very lovely. I think they’re called crocuses. If I’m wrong, please let me know.
