A walk around Pirate’s Cove

On Saturday evening, Brian and I dined in a restaurant called Thursday’s in Galesville, Maryland. (The salmon was very good :))  After dinner, we took a walk and he snapped these pictures with his phone. The area is known as Pirate’s Cove for its history of pirates hiding and waiting to attack ships coming out of Baltimore. Today, it’s a quiet little area with a few restaurants, a couple of antique stores and friendly residents. Lovely place to get away for a few hours, enjoy a meal on the water and a scenic stroll.

The Artist’s House

This is the Artist's House in Key West--a beautiful historic home that serves as a bed and breakfast today. The house has a lot of interesting history including an infamous resident named Robert the doll. If you've never heard about him I suggest you google him but be warned--he is not your typical doll.
